proposes that a Hospital for the Jail be attacked thereto, in conjunction with the present prison.

As workmen on the

roads, the convicts are not

good labourers, but as carriers

of stone to the roads, and

Scavengers, they could be proptably employed.

It being I ollock, the Commission adjourns for further evide

other evidence until 11 am.
